Clippin'

Compared to months ago, Baby C's got almost a full head of hair! Although it's not long enough to put up a piggie tail or anything, but Mommy has been eyeing suitable girly hair clips for maybe 1 or 2 months down the road. So I was especially stoked when I found these on EverydayClippers on Etsy. They claimed that their clips are non slip, which in my mind, is a great feature to have. Babies like to snatch things off whenever they can so I can imagine the minute I clip something on her hair, she'll want to pull it off. But these are seriously some cute hair pins that can dress up a plain onesie outfit. :) They even make ones that are festival enough to wear during X'mas time.

Just A Messenger

For as long as I can remember, I've already carried a messenger type of school bag throughout my school years. The school that I went to (from Kindergarten to Middle School), backpack style school bag was never an option. I guess this is why I am not too crazy about carrying a backpack, even to this day. I always think of them as bulky and burdensome. Like carrying a big hard shell on your back wherever you go. Plus, it's really hard to carry a backpack AND look good at the same time. But over here in the Western world, all the school age kids I see have backpacks on them. Pink, Blue, Cinderella, Spiderman, you name it, they make it. I struggle with the thought that Baby C will be carrying one of those oversized backpacks in bright pink on her that weighs her down from behind. Maybe I'll insist that she carries one of those messenger bags from The Tiny House when she's old enough. Are these just the cutest things ever? I wonder what can a toddler put in that? Hmmm... a change of diaper and a mini bottle? :)

Going Main Stream

Stella McCartney has a line now for GapKids! I am not too familiar with her design for adults but the work she did for GapKids is magnificent! They look spunky, fun, wearable, and best yet, fashionable. Apparently the kid models that are featured in this campagin are found on Facebook. Maybe it's time to start a FB page for Baby C so she can be the next talent on a baby magazine?

Fall Back

The weather has been somewhat nippy here on the East Coast. That crisp air in the early morning really sends some chills down my spine and wakes me up when I step out the door in the last few wks. We are spending the wknd here at my parents and went out shopping for Baby C's winter wardrobe yesterday. I am proud to say that it was a ton of success because not only did we stumble upon some good bargains, we also got to get out of the house and enjoyed the beautiful Fall weather as a family. Baby is always excited to be out and about, even though she is strapped down in the car seat most of the time, but still, the sheer difference in scenary was exciting enough for her! What an easily pleased baby. So along the same lines, I found some more goodies from this Frenchie site called Little Fashion Gallery that collects a bunch of designers from Europe and their eye candy products. Here are some from BelleRose that I thought were cute, functional, yet different. Never a huge fan of bold colors and loud patterns, I think their designs are really up my alley. When Baby is old enough to be wearing some proper clothes, not just the onesies and rompers, we'd need to revisit this site and stock up on some.

Let's Talk Feet

So it won't be a while until baby C starts walking and requires proper walking gear, but I couldn't help but start researching on potential shoes to buy her when the time is right. So Camper is huge in Spain. I remember when hubby and I were still dating, we went on an exchange program as part of our MBA and spent a wonderful 3 month period in Barcelona. So naturally, the brand popped to my head as I started looking for kids shoes. I myself own a pair of Camper and they are fantastic. Light, durable, and comfortable for city living or taking long strolls. Here are a few of my favs. Check out their store at CAMPER.

p.s. even their website is colorful and filled with energy, just like the brand image portrayed!

I Think I Have Struck GOLD!

It's a shame that we don't get more exposure to the fabulous European kids fashion here in the US. I discovered Anna Ka Bazaar just a moment ago and I couldn't take my eyes off of the kids stuff on their site! Simply divine!

Which is Cuter

I couldn't work out whether the baby modeling the hooded towel is cuter or the hooded towel? But nonetheless, this towel will bring the baby bathing experience up to a whole new level!
